Ford vs. Ferrari v.2

I was kind of joking a few weeks ago when I posted my comparisons between the F150 and the F150 . So it took me by surprise to see this blog posting on the cnn.com money page...

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Ford made it very clear to Italian sports car maker Ferrari, that the name "F150" means a truck -- not a racecar. Faced with a lawsuit over the matter, Ferrari backed down.

Ferrari had named its new Formula 1 racecar the F150, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Italy's unification. But the name tag already has a strong following on one of the best-selling vehicles in America -- the Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Ford F150 drives over a Ferrari 458 Italia

In an eerie de-ja-vue kind of thing I came across this video today, just after my last post about Ford F150 vs. Ferrari F150. Now this car is a 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia (not the F150), but I believe you can see the connection. The video is pretty boring once you get beyond the horror of the truck resting on the hood of a car costing more than the house most of us live in. Just in case you were considering lowering your car insurance deductables to save a little money... don't.

F150? I'm so confused...Is that four wheel drive?
